…Anna worked in the position of “Controller” and provided us with the following duties: preparation of monthly consolidated statements, preparation of annual audited financial statements… , financial analysis (management accounting including cash flow analysis and forecasting), accounts payable, tax compliance in both Canada and California, payroll and supervision of invoicing and accounts receivables.

Anna’s responsibilities covered both management and statutory reporting for the business, as well as the offshore holding structures and all banking affairs. Anna was instrumental in a general post acquisition restructuring that was executed to streamline the offshore holdings for future tax optimisation.

Anna is meticulous, detailed, extremely well organized, very cost conscious and has a very strong grasp of the technical aspects of accounting. If given the opportunity I would hire Anna again and would recommend her for the right opportunity.

Anna is an extremely competent financial professional, with great personal and business integrity and dedication to the job. She is a great team player and was highly instrumental in creating and operating a financial structure that was highly transparent, produced accounts in timely manner and that were an important factor both in giving us confidence for our initial investment as well as ensuring our buyers felt a similar comfort.

During her tenure with the Company, Anna was responsible for supervising the financial and legal departments. Anna effectively scheduled yearly company audits and managed her team to maintain efficient operations. Dealing directly with the financial output of Anna’s department (financial reporting, system operation and internal controls) I can say that it was in all respects constructed to reflect the best practices with utmost reliability.

I will miss dealing with her as I was confident that when she was managing a situation, it would get thoroughly resolved. During 3 years we worked very closely with Anna on the US GAAP and statutory audits and related issues. Anna has been employed as our controller for the past 5 years and responsible for standard tasks such as AP/AR, banking, inventory, and preparing quarterly financial statements with notes. We have also asked Anna to take on tasks beyond the normal day to day role and assist us with preparing the annual budget, all CRA inquiries, external audits, adhoc management reports and inventory. Her attention to detail with all her tasks is second to none!
